Spandana Hospital was established to give the families of Mysuru a dependable place to turn to when medical care cannot wait. Every patient is assessed on arrival and the sickest are seen first. The casualty handles road-traffic and other trauma, breathlessness, chest pain, suspected stroke, seizures, high fever, poisoning and acute abdominal pain, and coordinates transfer for anything the hospital is not equipped to treat.

Intensive Care Unit
Monitored ICU beds with piped oxygen and suction at every bedside, ventilators for invasive and non-invasive support, multipara monitors, infusion and syringe pumps, a defibrillator and a fully stocked crash cart. One isolation bed is kept for patients with infection. The unit is staffed at a nursing ratio planned for high-dependency care, with a consultant round morning and night.
High-Dependency & Step-down Beds
Beds for patients who no longer need the ICU but are not yet ready for a general ward — continued monitoring, oxygen and close nursing, so recovery is not rushed and a patient is not moved on before they are stable.
Emergency Room
A resuscitation bay with bedside monitoring, a defibrillator, oxygen and a crash cart, and an ECG machine on site. The casualty doctor can escalate a patient directly to the ICU without waiting for an outpatient referral.
Round-the-clock Support
A pharmacy inside the hospital, 24-hour sample collection for admitted patients, ambulance coordination for transfers, and a layout that lets one attendant stay close to the patient.
